TRAX RECORDS Special



One of the two original Chicago house-music labels (the other being D.J. International Records). Founded in the early 1980s by Larry Sherman and Vince Lawrence. Responsible for the release of "Acid Tracks" by Phuture, "Move Your Body" by Marshall Jefferson, and many many other records that shaped the Chicago and acid house sounds through till the early 1990's.

Tracklist ziet er goed uit. Jammer dat ik hem heb gemist. Zal hem eens downen, ik veronderstel dat hij bij de live sets staat?

Het recyclagelabel Ik heb de originele TRAX releases die echt niet draaibaar waren gewoon buitengekieperd en indien mogelijk vervangen door de herpersingen.

mooie mix !

Heb er idd ook zo een paar liggen, die staan zo krom als een hout maar hebben wel een nostalgische waarde. Maar het was wel zo dat ze oude jazz vinyls recycleerde om zo de kosten te drukken en zie waar ze het gebracht hebben... LEGENDARY !

Deze week een genre waar ik al lang op zit te broeden qua mixen. Namelijk een "Drum N Bass Classics" special. Voor mij is Drum N Bass vooral muziek die ik zelf graag in een mix hoor maar zelf nog nooit had gemixed. Dus dacht ik, tijd om daar verandering in te brengen.
