Inspired by new sounds, new technologies and the political events of the time, the early 90s sees the emergence of a scene that euphorically celebrates the dawning of a new era. In Berlin, Frankfurt and many other German cities, activists tinker on a new music and club culture oriented around the coordinates Techno and House.
At Berlin's Love Parade in 1991, different local scenes congregate for the first time. The trend turns into a movement. A German Summer of Love, which changes whole lives overnight and kick-starts careers. The basic principle of Techno stands for experimenting, crossing borders and DIY. Fans become DJs or party promoters. Labels are founded and record stores open up. The scene grows. An independent microcosm is created. Networks are formed away from established structures. The documentary film "Feiern" presents people whose nights don't stop for 72 hours. Their stories are about tenderness, excess, and self-destruction. About the search for happiness and the fear of being alone. The portrait in 19 conversations, 56 nights, and 13 tracks.
"Feiern" shows them getting down – sweaty, dazed, deliriously happy. People who dedicate their lives to music, clubs and drugs talk about their experiences.They tell stories of self-destruction as well as tenderness. And every one of them is about the search for happiness: about that perfect moment of collective ecstasy, about the right record being played at the right time, about talking for eight hours to a complete stranger, who you adopt as your best friend – for the night. Or about how it feels to walk into a darkroom and become "a mere piece of meat, to be used and use others". The conversations add up to the portrait of a family and make "Feiern" the melancholic homage to a subculture that continues to celebrate until, finally, a simple cough turns into pneumonia, and a blackout leads to psychosis. We Call It Techno is gemaakt van dezefde mensen als Richie Hawtin zijn DVD maar die Feieren is door anderen gemaakt.

en normaal ook over CJ bolland. 
Onlangs kwam Music Man ook aan bod, Fuse hebben ze ook al eens vermeld maar voor Dazing zijn ze nog ni gereed precies

ge moet niet willen lopen voor ge kunt gaan zou mijn oma zeggen. Tom is gestaag bekender aan't worden, maar ge moet die nu ook niet op dezelfde plank zetten als de artiesten die langskomen op Slices eh...keimi schreef:Fuse hebben ze ook al eens vermeld maar voor Dazing zijn ze nog ni gereed precies.
Neemt niet weg dat het een talent is, maar moest em nu al zo hoog aangeschreven staan dan zijde misschien binnen een jaar hem beu. Laat hem dus maar rustig groeien en rijpen.

on topic: op die slices dvd van richie hawtin was het wel ff kicken toen ze die magazines lieten zien waar hij allemaal in stond, kdenk een van de eerste covers die ze lieten zien, was ene da'k had gemaakt toen'k nog ni lang bij out soon werkte
