9-4-2007: All good things come to an end

All good things come to an end is the song of Nelly Furtado , and indeed for Koloso this is also coming.

But as you know no end without a big bang.

The 14th of april we have the last (hard) techno event ON THE DECKS (with free entrance for all members!!) and the 21st of april we have the final date with the EARTHQUAKE Event. Please check below for more info.

The reason of the closing is in fact very simple. The club was making a natural evolution towards a more event hall. Being full on event nights & half full on resident nights or events with smaller guests, so the focus had to be made on the artists performing as they attract the crowd, which left no room for accomodation changes which have to be done to the building (to avoid for example the closing on 31/3).

Luckily another organisation will host a clubnight every saturday in the building starting the 5th of may , which we wish them all the best with.

This leaves room for the Koloso concept to return in september in a perfect accomodation on friday nights, which is the perfect night to have the biggest dj´s of the scene come over instead of a saturday night where there´s too much demand for the bigger artists from other countries.

So the future looks bright, and let´s rock the place in the last weeks!

Kben is curieus naar da nieuw concept, ze mogen wel beginnen met promotie aangezien het nog minder dan een maand is.

En liefst deftige muziek en genen jump aub...

allé en ik die dacht dat jump en consoorten nog steeds garant stonden voor volle zaken...

hopelijk wordt het weer geen jump toestanden maar kan er iemand het gebouw in ere herstellen, best niet teveel hopen zeker, denk niet dat de verwachtingen ooit al ingelost zijn bij een heropening van een monument zoals deze

Ach, ik vrees er ook voor dat het jumptoestanden zullen worden.

hm ben zondag meegeweest na lagoa me olivier pieters en de residents zeiden dat ze ook gan jump gan speleaar wat er zit bijna geen volk meer

Heb gehoord dat er daar een keeskop House zal komen draaien iemand bevestiging.

het gerucht gaat dat er nu house/groove zal gedraaid worden in de main room en R&B/hiphop in de andere....
